Documents We Need

  • Original valid passport with at least 3 months of validity from date of the travel
  • Three recent passport-size photographs (35 MM x 45 MM, with white background, 80% face, not older than 6 months)
  • One visa form (printed back to back on a single sheet)
  • Covering letter, explaining the purpose of the visit to the Embassy of Mexico, New Delhi and entire travel itinerary 
  • Travel medical insurance duration of stay in Schengen area with minimum coverage of 30,000 euro
  • Return Air Ticket
  • Hotel reservation 
  • Detailed day to day itinerary 
  • Personal till date bank statement of the last 6 months original with bank stamp and signature 
  • Personal ITR last 3 years

OCCUPATION PROOF 

  • Permitted Activities: This visa is strictly for tourism, sightseeing, casual visits to meet friends/relatives, and short-term yoga programmes.

  • Prohibited Activities: You cannot engage in any form of business, employment, or missionary work on this visa.

  • Non-Extendable: The 1 Year e-Tourist Visa cannot be extended or converted to any other type of visa while you are in India.

  • Entry Points: You must enter India through one of the designated airports or seaports.

  • Continuous Stay Limit: Each stay in India should not exceed 90 days (or 180 days for specific nationalities as permitted). You must exit the country before this period is over, but you may re-enter immediately if you wish.

  • Restricted Areas: This visa is not valid for travel to protected, restricted, or cantonment areas.
