Documents We Need

 

  • Complete visa application form signed by applicant  
  • Original valid passport validity of six months after the scheduled return and must have two blank pages (old passport if any)
  • One recent unused passport size (35 x 45 MM) colored photo with white background 80% face, not older than six months
  • Personal cover letter addressed to the visa officer, embassy of Sweden, stating name, passport number, duration of intended stay)
  • Return Flight Ticket
  • Proof of accommodation/hotel reservation
  • Day to day itinerary
  • Travel medical insurance covering all Schengen area with minimum coverage of 30,000 euro
  • Original till date personal bank statement of last 3 months with bank stamp and signature 
  • Personal ITR of last 2 years 

OCCUPATION PROOF

  • Permitted Activities: This visa is strictly for tourism, sightseeing, casual visits to meet friends/relatives, and short-term yoga programmes.

  • Prohibited Activities: You cannot engage in any form of business, employment, or missionary work on this visa.

  • Non-Extendable: The 1 Year e-Tourist Visa cannot be extended or converted to any other type of visa while you are in India.

  • Entry Points: You must enter India through one of the designated airports or seaports.

  • Continuous Stay Limit: Each stay in India should not exceed 90 days (or 180 days for specific nationalities as permitted). You must exit the country before this period is over, but you may re-enter immediately if you wish.

  • Restricted Areas: This visa is not valid for travel to protected, restricted, or cantonment areas.
